PAL Activity:
#29 Florian Chollet drove some nice times on GV2 and Rainbow Road this week and have placed him ahead of Fredy, with Clement Papon in his sights. With a similar average finish cut he can reach there.
#43 Jean-Francois Schepers of Belgium has had an amazing week on his return to Time Trial. He has put together a nice set of NBT times making a strong attack there and passing Mathieu Jaspard to be the new Time Trial Champion of Belgium. He has also landed one place ahead of Spanish Champion, Limona.
NTSC Activity:
#3 Sami Cetin sets a new PR for his slightly weaker IB lap on Mario Circuit 2 this week and defends his rank.
#221 Christophe Tremblay drove 5 new PRs this week and is continuing to push Rainbow Road to new heights, while his average finish score helps him pass a few more karters. |

Belgian Championship of SMK
The Belgian Championship of SMK happened this weekend, and apparantely there were some exciting matches taking place, hopefully they will gather some photos and maybe vids in due course.

New World Records
Karel van Duijvenboden set a new Donut Plains 1 PAL Course World Record this week with 1'10"36.
Movement
PAL Activity:
#2 Karel van Duijvenboden is chipping away a little at average finish on Donut Plains 1 after some hard work and a successful World Record. He also hit a small PR for VL1 lap.
#30 Florian Chollet is now very close to Fredy on the overall ranks following a nice Non-NBT GV2 PR that went sub 1'03" and a few NBT cuts on MC1 and KB2.
#83 Job Plessius of the Netherlands made a return to SMK this week with a nice set of Non-NBT times; we hope to see more from him soon and perhaps revive a rivalry with Freek and other karters.
NTSC Activity:
#3 Sami Cetin had a great week with another strong average finishcut following NBT PRs on Mario Circuit 3 and his first lot of NBT work on Rainbow Road. The result has placed him ahead of Guilherme and Guillaume for the 3rd Place spot on NTSC Time Trials.
#223 Christophe Tremblay of Canada drove 4 new PRs on Special Cup with some nice times including platform jumps on GV3 fastlap. Rainbow Road is also picking up well with more potential for the course time. |

Karel van Duijvenboden pushes out a Donut Plains 1 fastlap World Record on PAL this week with 0'13"69.
Movement
PAL Activity:
#2 Karel van Duijvenboden, the Dutch Super Mario Kart Champion is fighting well with his top records of PAL and succeeds in a nice lap World Record mini barrier for Donut Plains 1.
#3 Florent Lecoanet made a nice result for BC2 lap, his PAL PR this week with some margin under the 20 seconds lap barrier.
#30 Florian Chollet drove a BC2 Non-NBT PR and almost broke the 1'00" barrier on KB2 with NBT. He maintains his position this week.
#53 Alexandre Burel has passed Kenny this week with his latest times using NBT for DP1 and GV2. Eddy Lisima is just ahead for another French rank.
NTSC Activity:
#5 Sami Cetin set some strong cuts with NBT for Bowser Castle 2 and Donut Plains 3 this week which have helped him to pass Oliver for the 5th place spot on the NTSC Time Trial Rankings.
#7 Florent Lecoanet set a couple of PRs this week including GV1 and BC2 fastlaps and maintains his rank.
#51 Chris Morton made some Non-NBT PRs on Bowser Castle 1 course time and fastlap resulting in a good chop to his average finish. |

#73 Stacy Needham returned with a few old PRs on BC3, GV3 and VL2 and made a decent average finish cut.
#108 Alexander Walz sent some PRs for Mario Circuit 2 with good results at sub 1'21".
NTSC Activity:
#3 Guillaume Leviach set 3 key PRs on BC1, GV2 and CI2 to eliminate Titan standard times. He has made the rank to 3rd place by a point following his latest times.
#15 Ha Nyan of Japan set a very nice pair of BC1 times with a sub 1'26" and sub 17 second lap.
#227 Christophe Tremblay has succeeded in nearly a -10 average finish cut with 11 new PRs including more platform jumps going on in Ghost Valley 1 amd Mario Circuit 1 reaching the mid 1'01" level. |
