Movement
PAL Activity:
#6 Sebastian Stellmacher, the German Champion of SMK and Matthias Boucher of France are in direct competition this week following close activity. Sebastian is pushing his RR PR further while Matthias makes a good cut with NBTs to improve his overall level on several tracks.
#13 Manuel Babjar continues his great drive on BC2 that is pushing his overall level up as he lands in a tie with Jonas, with Roodhorst a few short points ahead. A few rank gains can be made by Manuel in the next weeks if he focuses on gaining average finish score.
#21 Guillaume Leviach has had a great week with a very nice cut following his Rainbow Road adventure, taking the 21st position from Angelo and is now a few short points from Swedish Champion, Kalle Videkull and the Top 20.
#28 David Bonne is working on old-style CI2 and getting some very strong 5-lap PRs, this latest one not far off the 1'12"00 barrier.
#29 Frederic Duarte-Leite improves 4 PRs with a good NBT lap on MC4, and is now within the Top 30, targetting Team France rival, David Bonne.
#35 Alvin van Asselt made another small cut on his BC3 PR this week, and maintains position.
#36 Sean Billingsley of the UK returned this week with a couple of PRs, to repass Team rival Ben Allen for #4 in the UK.
#41 Julien Brangeon of France is fast climbing with many successful times including strong usage of NBT. He is making a pace towards the Top 40 of PAL, with another cut similar to the last it will be reachable soon.
#86 Florian Chollet of France made a return to SMK and has set a few new times, cutting a bit off his overall stats.
#89 John Kennedy of the Australian team stayed with the GVs, setting a nice GV1 time.
#102 David Schiering of Germany also makes his SMK return this week and a nice average finish cut putting him within range to reach the Top 100.
#129 Kristopher Will improved only his MC2 lap this week but that provided him a significant cut to stay ahead of approaching rivals.
#132 Daniel Pabst and #133 Samuel Gomez have a good battle at the moment with a few PRs from both, each of them making a good cut, and Daniel in the lead slightly gaining at this time as they approach Kristopher Will at the Top 130s of PAL.
#137 Arno van den Barselaar of the Netherlands made his PRs on the Choco Islands this week resulting in a decent cut.
#163 Rene Bauer of Germany is another surprise return this week with a lot of new times all round and a great climb on PAL. We look forward to see more PRs as he has a good pace to reach more of the rivalries above.
#208 Emily van den Barselaar set 8 new PRs, the majority of the work being on Flower cup. She has passed a few more karters on the way.
NTSC Activity:
#4 Alencar Faria of Brazil makes a comeback, and is chipping away at his times towards #3. He has a few PRs including a solid BC2.
#7 Pierre L'Hoest pushed his efforts more on CI2 for NTSC and has delivered a sub 1'04 5-lap followed by a new lap PR also.
#57 Nicholas Harvey has gained a couple of more positions with some new PRs on BC3 (with a nice sub 18 second lap) and also KB2.
#85 Jacob Goldfinger made 7 new PRs and a good improvement to his statistics after passing Kapple and Ellis.
#167 April Thompson, Women's NTSC Champion returns to SMK with a few new times so far, for MC1 lap and GV3 course time.
#207 Pat Bertovich is aiming for the Top 200 as his first big target, and with some new times using Toad and Mario, has so far passed Marcelo Luiz de Acacio. |

PAL Activity:
#5 Julien Holmiere cut his KB2 lap down on PAL a notch, maintaining his overall rank.
#14 Manuel Babjar also defends his rank this week with a great effort on Bowser Castle 2 course time with potential for the sub 1'43".
#21 Angelo Di Vano and #22 Guillaume Leviach battle rages on. Leviach stayed on RR while motivated and was able to break his lap PR under 17"30 Non-NBT, an excellent time. Italian Champion, Angelo made a strong set of new times with NBT and some solid Non-NBT techniques also to cut a large average finish level. He is leading the rivalry for now and is within range of Swedish Champion, Kalle Videkull.
#28 David Bonne moved from CI1 to CI2 this week, lowering his course time there a bit and maintaining his position.
#47 Julien Brangeon has a good week on a further return to SMK learning some more NBT techniques and climbing within the Top 50 and at #22 in France as he sees further potential ahead.
#89 John Kennedy of Australia has broken into within the Top 90 after successfully tearing up some Ghost Valley 3 this week, in particular his lap which was pretty solid.
#107 Steve Bayliss did the same with some smaller cuts, but significant ones as he polished up his strategy there, this will help him to improve other tracks to pursue the Top 100, and follow in Kennedy's footsteps.
#131 Kristopher Will of Germany made a return to SMK to set a few PRs and rival #132 Daniel Pabst who has been climbing and catching very fast. Both karters performed really well this week and have the potential to keep going for higher ranks and the Top 100 before long.
#134 Samuel Gomez cut a significant amount of average finish also to answer a challenge from a certain rival who is approaching. A lot of new times and barriers to be reached soon by Sam.
#137 Arno van den Barselaar of the Netherlands drove a pair of solid RR PRs and cuts a bit of average finish.
#169 Emmanuel Debenest continues to threaten the ranks just above him with his lightning fast and hard to catch PRs. We will see if this develops into a rivalry between him and more active karters within range in a few weeks at this pace.
#212 Emily van den Barselaar also karted with several PRs, passing some more karters on the way.
NTSC Activity:
#7 Pierre L'Hoest drove a further small cut to CI2 5-lap on NTSC.
#21 Simon Laflamme this week improved his GV2 fastlap Non-NBT with a solid record.
#59 Nicholas Harvey hit some key records on a few tracks in particular that he was working on this week; namely MC3 which had several cuts later in the week and has broken through to the Top 60.
#89 Jacob Goldfinger made a return that focused on MC1 with a sub 1'01" Non-NBT time.
#156 Dante Netto of the Brazilian Team improves a lot of his times this week, cutting a good lead on his average finish against rival karters.
#208 Pat Bertovich continues to kart and is picking up speed on some more tracks. He has climbed into the Top 210 with potential for further advancements soon. |

PAL Activity:
PAL Time Trial World Champion, Pierre L'Hoest is reaching the 40/40 myth and has set a strong PR for BC3 nearly reaching the big barrier that Karel hit last year.
#5 Julien Holmiere improved his lap record a little for BC2.
#6 Sebastian Stellmacher continues his work on Rainbow Road and cuts it down a bit further, still plenty of potential left.
#21 Guillaume Leviach and #22 Angelo Di Vano rivalry continues, but this week a good team effort in a way to lower the gap to the Top 20. Both karters cut some good average finish and are making their way there well. Angelo focused on some Non-NBT with solid results including a 1'02" at GV2 while Guillaume went crazy on RR with a sub 1'27" near to the Record of France.
#28 David Bonne cuts his Choco Island 1 PR below the minute barrier for the first time with solid Non-NBT.
#31 Frederic Duarte-Leite improves 6 PRs with NBT this week taking down some great times and is approaching more barriers. Former Champions of France are just ahead in the rankings now.
#35 Alvin van Asselt hits a small PR to his BC3 course time.
#90 John Kennedy of Australia set a few new times and made a strong average finish cut this week.
#107 Steve Bayliss focused only on GV3 but made another solid cut there and is now strong in the sub 1'20" with a lot of potential for improvement.
#134 Daniel Pabst now faces a few more German rivals after his latest few PRs that have earned him another large cut to his average finish.
#184 Emmanuel Debenest returns to SMK! He has hit a good set of new times to start off with and a solid cut to his overall statistics. We look forward to see more PRs from him soon.
#261 Lindsay Molenaar is now only a few short points away from passing a few rival karters, a good fw PR cuts will see a climb soon. Lindsay made nice efforts on BC1 this week.
NTSC Activity:
#7 Pierre L'Hoest sets a new PR for CI2 course time for NTSC.
#10 Florent Lecoanet had a PR for Rainbow Road NBT that is now a new Record of France also for NTSC.
#15 Sami Cetin managed to cut his VL2 lap below 10 seconds with a regular strat on a few tries this week.
#20 Simon Laflamme made a new Non-NBT fastlap PR for KB2 on a mini return to SMK.
#63 Nicholas Harvey, the defending champion of Mississippi drove 8 new PRs, passing Colorado State Champion, Nelson and is on his way to reaching Dan Hanson with the Top 60 well within reach.
#213 Pat Bertovich has picked up on the strategy and some of the tracks well this week after nearly passing 10 ranks on NTSC with several new times. He has potential for the Top 200 soon. |

New World Records
Pierre L'Hoest finally hit the Mario Circuit 1 World Records on PAL with 0'58"36 and 0'11"34.
Movement
PAL Activity:
PAL Time Trial World Champion, Pierre L'Hoest hit his targets on Mario Circuit 1 PAL NBT, a track he was after for a while, now securing the PAL World Records there.
#5 Julien Holmiere made a small cut for his KB1 5-laps.
#6 Sebastian Stellmacher, the German Champion of SMK worked on his RR Non-NBT times and is developing stronger skills there along with another PR cut.
#9 Christophe Paquin of France returned to SMK with some strong PRs on NBT; a nice lap on MC1 too as he cuts down some of his statistics well.
#14 Manuel Babjar of Germany worked hard on BC2 and is making good results there. His potential is great overall and his thrust this week puts him within range to rivals Jonas, Roodhorst and Coste just ahead.
#21 Guillaume Leviach and #22 Angelo Di Vano continue their Time Trials deadlocked after another good battle. Angelo was able to improve nicely on some weaker tracks, still plenty of potential to climb! Guillaume Leviach also had a great week and remains a bit ahead with some great PRs and a fantastic cut near to the French Record on Rainbow Road.
#28 David Bonne defends his rank further this week with some Non-NBT PRs on CI1, very close to the 1'00" barrier on the 5-lap.
#108 Steve Bayliss cut some strong Non-NBT down placing him a few more positions ahead including faster than Scotland Champion Alasdair Morrison. Steve is now #17 in the UK.
#135 Samuel Gomez improves his Rainbow Road course time.
#136 Daniel Pabst of the German team continues to fight through the ranks very strong and is fast catching rival Samuel Gomez. Daniel has also passed Women's Champion Tanja Broennecke, to become #15 in Germany also.
NTSC Activity:
#11 Florent Lecoanet made some PRs to answer the challenge of Julien on a previous week and makes some good improvements so far, regaining his position.
#15 Sami Cetin improved a lap record for VL2 NTSC.
#20 Michael Fried has his latest set of new times with NBT that have placed him between two of Canada's strongest karters. With several karters within passing range in the next weeks, we look forward to see where he will land.
#23 Dan Hoernemann improves his Choco Island 1 fastlap record gaining a few cuts to his average finish.
#36 Alvin van Asselt hit an amazing lap on Ghost Valley 2 non-nbt with platform jump that beat quite a few celebrities when it was done. He also followed up with a few other nice PRs.
#65 Nicholas Harvey fought well in his battle vs Josh Stevens and now takes the Champions Belt for Mississippi State Champion of SMK. Some good cuts again this week from Nicholas with main focus on Mushroom Cup and a few other PRs. He is now not far from reaching former USA and NTSC World (now Colorado) Champion, Travis Nelson.
#82 Dave Phaneuf of Canada continues to fly up the ranks, now rivalling the Costa Rican SMK Champion and has reached #16 in Canada. His average finish cut was a superb improvement on last week as he shifts well into the Top 100 with awesome potential!
#181 Miles Bond returned with a strong set of times and large cut to several tracks and is on pace to cut his way through to a higher position on the ladder soon.
#222 Pat Bertovich switched over to some SMK sessions this week to learn some more strats with the tracks and is picking up well so far with a decent cut to several times. |

#4 Florent Lecoanet drove a pair of nice cuts to his MC1 NBT PRs this week.
#22 Guillaume Leviach and #23 Angelo Di Vano rivalry continues with Angelo cutting off some good average finish on a few key tracks, passing Clement Papon on the way. Guillaume works on BC2 with a sub 1'45" barrier PR this week and defends his position.
#25 James Jones stayed with MC1 to work on his technique further and has nailed some solid times for his overall rank with his 5-lap near the mid 59!
#28 David Bonne made a small PR cut to MC2 this week and is defending his rank.
#32 Frederic Duarte-Leite continues his NBT PRs and to lower the gap to the next player with new times on DP1.
#35 Alvin van Asselt is fast catching Frederic with a great pace and some NBT PRs as he works on the technique. He has also passed Team UK's Ben Allen this week.
#93 John Kennedy of Australia improves his DP1 PRs further and also has a solid attempt at MC4 and is approaching the 1'45" barrier there.
#113 Steve Bayliss is really picking up a good pace as he takes down a few more rivals including Team UK's Steven Cotton to become #19 in the UK. Not far ahead are Scotland's top SMK players including Scottish Champion Alasdair Morrison.
#157 Daniel Pabst of Germany has an excellent week with ever stronger PR cuts as he lands within the Top 160, passing rival Caterbow and also more karters on the ranking. He has great potential to climb to higher ranks.
#248 Jonathan Sifleet... (a.k.a Badman Biff)... Shocking to see he has some PRs, but probably because he moved into Sami's house for a while! It was literally "gimme that pad bruv" and out came some nice cuts with Koopa on GV1 and BC1.
#261 Lindsay Molenaar finally broke the MC1 barrier of 1'20" which she was after and a few other PRs and is now 0.500 average finish from reaching Manku and Bedford.
NTSC Activity:
#7 Pierre L'Hoest improved his lap record on BC2 this week for NTSC.
#11 Julien Holmiere drops by for some NTSC PRs also and has reached #2 France again after edging out over Florent with some new times and good NBT work.
#15 Sami Cetin played a little NTSC shaving off a VL2 lap time.
#21 Michael Fried, New York State Champion has set a lot of new times this week across the cups including a few trick times and a World Record on trick KB1 lap. His regular PRs included strong NBT work as he approaches the Top 20 with several rivals fairly close ranked. With this onging pace expect him to climb some ranks very soon!
#36 Alvin van Asselt has been experimenting with his new found NBT techniques on NTSC as well with great progress there too, and also Non-NBT PRs where applicable are strengthening his stats.
#68 Josh Stevens and #69 Nicholas Harvey battle of the Titans is taking place between Josh Stevens and Nicholas Harvey for one to hold the throne as Mississippi State Champion. Josh made several PRs and Nicholas made fewer but larger cuts. The difference is getting closer and we are likely to see some more results soon. Stay tuned!
#106 Dave Phaneuf of Canada has returned to SMK with a long list of new times and an amazing cut to place him near the Top 100 of NTSC. We look forward to see more PRs from him as he continues to climb the rankings. |
