PAL Activity:
#48 Florian Chollet of France delivered some more awesome work sharpening up his NBT and Non-NBT skills. His rank is also moving up as he hits within the Top 50 Worldwide on PAL Time Trial. The Norwegian and Belgian Champions are not far ahead, we look forward to see his further progress in the next week. Some more Non-NBT on key tracks like the GVs and RR will help a lot.
#91 Alexandre Burel, the Plug and Play team Time Trial Champion made a nice pair of GV3 PRs jumping the platform. He can probably sub the 1'20 soon. A nice cut this week so far.
#143 Freek van der Steen of Netherlands has also been working hard on his PRs this week with 9 new times on various tracks including a well timed platform jump on GV1 lap and more potential to come. He climbs 4 more ranks this week.
#181 Elie Blatz improves a couple of GV PRs this week also, and passes Plug and Play team rival Martin Pfeiffer.
#287 Hoa Nguyen, our recent recruit from the Plug and Play team in France has made his first new PRs taking the longest track down a bit first, BC2.
NTSC Activity:
#17 Ha Nyan of the Japanese team made a return from his travels (where he managed to meet with Alencar and play some SMK then also). He has a very nice week with a tie World Record on Vanilla Lake 2 5-lap. Very well done!
#19 Martin Morissette of Canada aimed for a former rival this week and reached his goal. His PRs on BC1 and CI1 look pretty solid.
#147 Kevin McAteer made a strong climb improving many PRs on all the cups. He went for some sub barriers, getting there on DP1 and close on others, placing him into the Top 150 on NTSC just ahead of rival Chuck Foster. |

PAL Activity:
#56 Florian Chollet of France sets a PR for Choco Island 2 fastlap this week, slightly improving his stats and landing very close to former Belgian Champion Peter Toch.
#147 Freek van der Steen of Netherlands is making good progress so far. 4 new PRs across VL1 and MC4 have cut some good points for him as he gains another Dutch rank. The Women's World Time Trial Champion is just ahead. Freek has strong potential for the Top 100 after new PRs across the boards.
#182 Elie Blatz of Plug and Play Team drives a new fastlap PR for GV3 lap, and plans to improve the 5-lap soon.
NTSC Activity:
#6 Florent Lecoanet of France delivers us a new VL1 5-lap World Record on NTSC side that he had been working towards for some time. Excellent job!
#20 Martin Morissette of Canada made a surprise return to SMK this week! A few solid PRs for Mario Circuit 1 and Ghost Valley 1 are good to get him started as he passes a karter and is making a closer move towards Jamie on the NTSC rankings.
#82 Bill Hyman has caused all the commotion this week with his spectacular return and full on PR improvement across the tracks. He is sharpening up his Non-NBT skills well and various other driving techniques on trickier courses as he flies well into the Top 100. We look forward to see his further advancements.
#121 Dean Barnhart also made a solid bunch of new PRs that have gained him 4 ranks on the site. His PRs were mainly on Mushroom Cup with some good work also on Star Cup. Keep up the great Karting! |

PAL Activity:
#94 Samuel Gomez the lone ranger this week pushes some more of his PRs with nice cuts and manages to climb some ranks on the site. This includes passing Mr Gosse, the Champion of the Rouen team of France and a strong Multiplayer specialist of SMK. More rivals are close ahead as he works his way to the Top 90; further PRs on weaker tracks will help Samuel to achieve this rank soon.
NTSC Activity:
#4 Oliver Segarra Gonzalez extends his lead from Alencar a little this week with a few PRs. More potential is there on DP2 fastlap, and his CI1 lap was close to a Brazil record.
#48 Nicholas Harvey, the Mississippi state champion of SMK makes his grand return this week with a pair of CI1 PRs, looking good indeed. We are looking forward to see more results from him soon.
#123 Dean Barnhart gains a few more ranks on NTSC with some work on Mario Circuit 4; more potential left but some decent cuts so far. After he has a solid run through all the tracks he can certainly reach the Top 100 on NTSC.
#163 Adam Leibach has caused all the action this week with a strong comeback, almost rewriting his game pak with new PRs. His great new cuts have flung him up some 30 odd ranks this week and he is looking strong to set some more records soon. He has passed previous rivals including Eric Tapani and legendary karters from long ago, including Washington state Champion Simmons. Definitely another candidate to aim for the Top 100 as his activity continues. |
Looks like VL1 outside...

PAL Activity:
#25 Gene Tagliabue, the Time Trial Champion of Australia has had a fantastic week with strong average finish improvement with his large volume of PRs. Hitting weaker tracks on several boards and coming up with surprises like MC1 fastlap he has climbed to the Top 25 of PAL. Another cut similar can reach him up to the next group who are close also to the Top 20.
#31 Alvin van Asselt makes an NBT cut to his Rainbow Road fastlap.
#97 Samuel Gomez drove 4 new PRs, hitting some nice Non-NBT on Rainbow Road and a few decent cuts to CI1 where he has more potential. The next few karters are very close on the ranking.
#137 Job Plessius of Netherlands who joined us not long ago has been PR'ing well on some tracks and improving his overall stats. He has recently passed Austrian #1 Peter Elsaesser.
#181 Elie Blatz of France is also gaining good ground each week with more PRs. This week GV2, KB1 and MC4 had good results and he is now within range to reach Plug and Play team rival Martin Pfeiffer.
#243 Lindsay Molenaar of Netherlands had some more time to play hitting some more sharper PRs with Toad on various tracks, mostly fastlaps.
NTSC Activity:
#4 Oliver Segarra Gonzalez nailed 3 new fastlap PRs this week. He has also passed his rival team mate, Alencar Faria, regaining the 2nd fastest Time Trial position in Brazil. Can he reach #1 Brazil?
#15 Tyler Worley drove a couple of PRs, one was a sharp GV1 NBT fastlap, and the other was more than just a PR; yes, another cut to his Koopa Beach 1 NBT World Record!
#125 Dean Barnhart set 4 new PRs with D.K.Jr this week; for Bowser Castle 2 and the rest on Special cup. His improvements have gained him a few more ranks. |
