| New Members No new members this week... New World Records No new World Records this week... Movement PAL Activity: #14 Christian Wild hit one of his weaker tracks, Rainbow Road and gave it a good combined Non-NBT and NBT makeover. He subbed the 1'28" which was a nice target and can now set his sights on the next track to continue closing the gap to the next overall rank. #16 Pierre Coste of France returned this week with a few small PRs and some CDM preparation, Choco Island 2 was the chosen track and he succeeded in a sub 1'07 PR and a new lap close to the 13 second barrier. #26 Harold Christensen, the "skankmaster" has returned his Vanilla Lake tracks once again to do a few more nice lap cuts. He is closing in on UK's Time Trial #2 Ben Allen. #29 Frederic Duarte-Leite of France had a wonderful week with a further cut to Mario Circuit 1 following the sub minute hit and some great Bowser Castle PRs plus a great mark on Mario Circuit 2 longboosting lap. He has closed the gap a lot more towards UK's 3rd fastest Time Trialer, Matthew McCarthy. Could this be the start of a CDM rivalry? #111 Christophe Charignon chops down 8 more PAL ranks and continues working towards this Top 100. At this pace he could land near there before the CDM which would mean he has maxed towards his NTSC level. 6 new Non-NBT PRs with nice cuts were made and this has helped him on the average finish. #149 Russell Horwood set 3 PRs on Flower Cup and Star cup combined; his Mario Circuit 3 looks very consistent and maintains his current overall rank. The next rank is just ahead. #215 Stefan Glosby of the UK drove 4 new PRs including a very nice lap cut on Vanilla Lake 2 as he learns the shorter racing lines. He has gained 3 more overall ranks this week. NTSC Activity: #95 Samuel Gomez decided on a return to NTSC and has had a successful PR run pushing him back further into the Top 100. He made 7 PRs in all, the best of which was a Ghost Valley 1 lap with platform jump. #242 Scott Page of Canada climbed 8 ranks on NTSC this week with 16 new PRs across the boards. Highlights were a sub 1'40 on Rainbow Road and some nice driving on VL2. He has a lot of potential and we will see him move towards the top 200 soon. #332 Christian Lopez set some PR cuts with Koopa Troopa on some of the tougher tracks of Star and Special cups and maintains his current rank. |
