New World Records

Tyler Worley pushed his Koopa Beach 1 NTSC World Record down to 0'45"83 and then a Koopa Beach 2 fastlap of 0'10"09.

Movement

PAL Activity:

#4 Matthias Boucher drove a couple of PRs this week, smaller cuts on CI1 with some flatboosting at the end; and a VL2 PR with some well timed island jumps, but defending his rank well.

#30 Florian Chollet drives a new NBT PR for Donut Plains 1 with potential left for more.

#71 Freek van der Steen was working on some Ghost Valley 3 this week and landed a new lap PR which earned him another rank on the PAL ladder.

NTSC Activity:

#11 Sami Cetin and his stubborn act to improve further on KB1 didn't get him too far, particularly for the lap, although some decent cuts were made.

#17 Tyler Worley, the man with the shortest Time Trial World Record on the site, for Koopa Beach 1 has just lowered it another notch further down. And just when we thought that was enough craziness, he has also taken the lap World Record for Koopa Beach 2, slipping under the 10"10 barrier.

#20 Raul Henrique is improving a couple of different tracks; namely DP3 and KB2 where there is plenty of room and we look forward to see some great new times there soon.

#23 Simon Laflamme, the Non-NBT Champion of NTSC and one of Canada's fastest overall karters made a little Non-NBT work of BC1 after a recent motivation from rivals there. Great to see Simon active and hopefully some more PRs in the near future.

#28 Dan Hoernemann, the Minnesota State Champion in USA returned this week to SMK time trials and begins his efforts with a nice 5/5 platform jump NBT Ghost Valley 1 PR.

#181 Hunter Koch has also made a suprise appearance this week to revamp some of his times. Flower Cup was a good place to start and some Mario Circuit 1 where he approaches the 1'02"00 barrier.
