Movement

PAL Activity:

#5 Matthias Boucher, the Time Trial Specialist from France returned to SMK with some PRs he had been working on for a while; a strong set that have helped him up to #5 in the World on PAL, after passing Julien Holmiere also to make it at #3 in France.

#27 Gene Tagliabue worked on a few key PRs this week to lower average finish, and is bridging the gap to Clement Papon who is another point ahead on average finish. He is keeping a good pace and should reach those rivals soon.

#31 Alvin van Asselt pushes Donut Plains 2 lap from strength to strength with another PR cut this week.

#38 James Tagliabue went on a good attack on several tracks this week, DP3 was tough but it is coming along well, along with some other PRs that rivalled Gene also.

#103 Alexandre Burel, the Plug and Play team Time Trial leader is fighting strong with 6 new PRs with large statistical improvements that have brought him closer to the Top 100s. The next week could be an exciting move!

#182 Martin Pfeiffer of Plug and Play team worked on 4 of his weaker PRs this week and made some very nice cuts. When he reviews more of the tracks he can pull out his full potential and be up there with his team mate Alex.

NTSC Activity:

NTSC Time Trial World Champion Pierre L'Hoest drove a few more title defense cuts including a World Record tie on Rainbow Road lap.

#2 Karel van Duijvenboden decided to play Rainbow Road NTSC this week and made some great results, regaining the 5-lap World Record and breaking the 1'24"00 barrier, and also reaching the lap tie with Pierre on the fastlap.

#6 Florent Lecoanet went on an NTSC assault this week, improving all of his potential PRs to a stronger level and passing some fast rivals.

#37 Alvin van Asselt improved his KB1 NTSC water trick lap this week.

#96 Raul Henrique of Brazil returned to SMK with a good selection of PRs, including some NBT testing. His PRs have been good pushing him into the Top 100s with more potential for improvement. A great return to start off the new year!

#146 Chuck Foster of USA drove 5 PRs this week, most of the work being on the MC3 and MC4 tracks, with some PR cuts on GV2 also. Sharper cornering and correcting after the corners will pull out some faster laps soon. Keep up the great karting!
