Welcome to...

Franz Bieler, Austria (PAL 237th, Austria 4th, Contender E)

New World Records

Guilherme Arantes provided a great new Donut Plains 2 5-lap World Record on NTSC of 1'23"36!

Movement

PAL Activity:

#9 Manuel Babjar is making great progress so far on more courses with MC4 a great focus as he lowers his times even further.

#11 Guillaume Leviach has also been every bit as strong with some high level cuts on several courses to push his standards up. He is also making a good attack towards Huber for the Top 10 on PAL.

#30 Alvin van Asselt took a tiny bit more off DP2, still sticking to Non-NBT there also.

#33 Gene Tagliabue, the Champion of Australia improved DP3 only this week; some decent cuts there that have pushed him ahead of Sweden's 2nd fastest, Eklund.

#111 Samuel Gomez maintains his position although is close to a Belgian rival for #110 as he stays on DP2 with a few more PRs this week.

NTSC Activity:

#2 Guilherme Arantes, the Brazilian Time Trial Champion beat the DP2 5-lap World Record by a tiny margin this week, and also defends his Brazilian record on Rainbow Road lap that was attacked by rival, #3 Alencar Faria of Brazil. Alencar did manage to hit a Brazil National Record for Rainbow Road course time this week however.

#9 Oliver Segarra Gonzalez and #10 Anderson Barbosa dos Santos continued their strong battle, with both karters improving overall stats. Oliver however takes the lead pushing hard on DP1 with a Brazil record and a few other great PRs to take the lead.

#11 Tohgo Ariake has had a strong week with some nice records. His aim is to reach more Japanese Records of Soul Kobayashi, this will help him to eventually pass him on the World Ranking. Tohgo is now near the Top 10 on NTSC with some active karters above; we look forward to new records from him soon.

#30 Jonathan Girard of Canada made a return to SMK, with his opening PR this week on KB1, he defends his rank as an approaching Japanese rival is not far in competition.

#32 Akita Sounori of Japan put together a fast list of new records and has gained another rank, with two more karters close in rank above. He should be able to move into the Top 30 on NTSC with his next set of new PRs.

#46 Nicholas Harvey of USA hits some return PRs also, with focus on MC2 where he had a lot of room for improvement. It has been a success so far with over a point of average finish cut.

#127 Bryan Cochonour has been continuing to focus on PRs where he can gain points through average finish and making nice progress there as he passes another bunch of rivals this week, heading towards the Top 120.

#218 Eric Tapani of USA who recently joined the site has been smashing a lot of his times this week and climbing fast with a large average finish improvement. With the pace he will be in the Top 200 in no time and several more rank climbs after. Keep up the great Karting!
