| Slight change to updating time on Sundays As some of you are aware, I have recently started a new job which has meant an alteration in my week's activities. This includes (shock... horror...) no gym until further notice! But other than that my weekends are looking a little different than before, so from now on I will be shifting the time that I do for the updating from Sunday afternoons to Sunday late evenings (UK time, currently still BST). Precise hours may vary, so if you are sending PRs, you may send them Sunday, however try not to leave it too late just incase; or if you are not really sure then send the PRs by Saturdays, they will still be collected as normal. Updates continue each week as normal, just at a slightly later time in the day. So keep those PRs coming in, and keep up the great karting activity! New Members Welcome to... Alexandre Burel, France (PAL 175th, France 49th, Warrior A) Alain Bilodeau, France (PAL 179th, France 51st, Warrior A) Elie Blatz, France (PAL 245th, France 62nd, Apprentice A) Justin Fuller, USA (NTSC 223rd, USA 109th, Contender E) New World Records Guilherme Arantes came with a surprise World Record on NTSC Bowser Castle 1 5-lap 1'25"78! Movement PAL Activity: #8 Angelo Di Vano hit Mario Circuit 3 NBT 5-lap with some nice results and a little average finish improvement. #12 Guillaume Leviach pushed through some of his PRs with excellent results and made a decent gain, with Paquin just ahead on the rankings. #21 Harold Christensen, the Multiplayer Champion of the Parigos Team, the Open ze Door Frenchman... he is back to Time Trial with a couple of PRs of a nice level, and passing Swedish Champion Videkull. It would be great to see more PRs from Harold, a karter with awesome potential. #26 Frederic Duarte-Leite sent in a pair of MC1 times, getting ever closer to the famous 1'00" barrier. #30 Alvin van Asselt improved a little further on DP2 this week. #35 Gene Tagliabue, the Champion of Australia worked more on MC1 with a small PR this week. #37 Ben Allen submits his previously unsent training period PR where he made a nice VL1 cut and maintains his rank. #42 James Tagliabue is moving up strong this week, and although there is a margin between him and Gene, his potential looks great with his latest batch of NBT and Non-NBT skilled mix. #53 Jean-Francois Schepers turns to the dark side with some NBT this week and is making a speedy approach to the Top 50 soon. Perhaps the use of NBT was some motivation after the action at the CDE? What is interesting is that if he keeps this up, it could eventually threaten Jaspard's Belgian title. Will he defend? We are sure he will, but we will wait and see... #57 Anthony Pichard is another karter to return from the Parigos team of Paris. An awesome driver with definite potential for the higher ranks on a lot of tracks. We look forward to seeing more PRs from him. #68 Florian Chollet was a great contender at the CDE also and has been hard at work to sharpen his times further on pretty much all the tracks. He has put in some NBT on a few tracks also to help cut some more average finish. #75 John Kennedy managed to put a bit of time into GV3 fastlap for a little further cut. #111 Samuel Gomez maintains his rank with some more PRs since last week whilst extending his lead from Nuutilainen. #121 Daniel Pabst of Germany sends an improvement to his Ghost Valley 1 PRs, maintaining his overall position. #241 Lindsay Molenaar has passed rival friends Barber and Vincent this week with some more Toad PRs. Her next target is Anna van Voorst to become the 2nd fastest Dutch lady. NTSC Activity: #2 Guilherme Arantes, the Brazilian Time Trial Champion surprises us with his new World Record for Bowser Castle 1 5-lap. #3 Alencar Faria of Brazil also submits a PR, a small cut for his BC3 5-lap. #12 Tohgo Ariake is making a strong return from the Japanese Team this week with 10 great new PRs with a gain in rank as he approaches some more karters on the ranking not far ahead. He can hit the Top 10 on NTSC very soon. #16 Ha Nyan continues to work on his strongest courses including refining VL2 even more. We look forward to see his progress there. #33 Akita Sounori of Japan also made a further return this week with a few good new records so far and potential for the Top 30 when he improves more courses. Keep up the great karting! |
