When will "The new MKSC" come? I know, never... (Monday, April 28th)

News:
I must say it’s the first time I’m looking on this page. A lot is happened around my position, and a lot at the (still, but that will change!) weaker players of our great community. Some crazy Aussies that almost stole our reputation with crazy pr’s and amazing new WR’s!
Players:
Marcus Whitley #61 is the guy I was talking about in the news section. With some amazing times, he isn’t slowly but surely climbing, no, he’s like a rocket! He went from #67 to #61 in a bit more than one week. Huge compliments for his times at Lakeside Park: 1’01”70 and 18”40, #47 and #48!
Daniel Sampson #66 got one record this time: 9”16 at RVL2. Did he stop because the other Aussies are better than him at the moment?
I need to be careful what to say about Kevin Borne #22, because my news was almost on a different MB before it was uploaded to the site… 5 pr’s this week. The cuts are good, but also some really good records: 17”10 at Mario Circuit (#18). Not bad at all, Kev!
I really had to decide whether I should write something about Daniel Pabst #15 or not. He’s one position behind me, really wants to pass me. He told that Tom didn’t notice him the last weeks, so does it matter if I don’t write anything about him, right? To make sure I may make some news again soon, I need to No incredible activity, but just like Kevin, good cuts. BL 22”85 is an extremely cool time, almost a top 10 time.
Unranked player Peter Buchan almost finished his timeset, but he still has to submit times for BC3. So far, he has a well-balanced timeset, with a few times that are just so much better… BP f-lap 20”50 is very good.
Alan McArthur #34 is the other crazy Aussie. He got a very good cut for his rank, as well as some incredible times that show that he can improve a lot more. So another Aussie with potential. His times? Too many to tell… CCI 13”81 (#8) is just an example!
Alvaro Fababu #63 got 3 new times at two tracks this time. I think he also has some other games to play. And don’t forget his MKDD news update! The new times are 58”45 at SGB and 45”91 and 13”55 at Bowser Castle 1. Not bad at all!
Matt Ellis #6 improved his Retro Koopa Beach 1 WR (again) to 28”08*, almost a sub-28 time! I wonder if we’ll ever have a different RKB1 dominator. And he also improved the f-lap at RMC2 to 8”11, just a tad under the WR.
Florian Chollet #11 made an insane AF cut (2 points or 12,5%) with a lot of incredible pr’s and gets much closer to Dutch champion Karel van Duijvenboden and the #2 of France, Seb! Florian passed Martin Morissette with ease (well, I think so) and might be trying to get his first CR soon… Allez Florian!!!
New Players:
Louis Nebout from Paris, France is one of the best joiners ever, with a lot of top 20-times and just a few “I didn’t seriously play at this track” times! His best record is 1’15”36 at Boo Lake (#10). He told us he would improve his times with ticking, but Louis, that isn’t allowed on this site!
Sam Parker is the other new player, ranked last at the moment. I hope he’ll stay improving to win some more positions. RVL1 57”16 (#70) is his best pr at the moment. Welcome to the site!

News:
A lot of activity in the last couple of weeks, the top ten has been a bit quiet lately but there is plenty of movement in the 20’s, 50’s and 60’s.
Players:
Daniel Sampson #64 - Daniel has been caught and passed in the last 2 weeks by Alvaro. He sent it in a load of prs and hit some great retro times. Nice pr on RVL2 flap 0’10"10.
Marcus Whitley #67 - Not far behind Daniel is the new kid on the block. I quote him saying that he’s “hooked” and it shows as he has made significant progress since his initial time submissions. The Aussie is still climbing so lets see if he can hit the 50’s by the end of April.
Cole Gilbert #13 - Nice single pr from Cole on RGV3 1’02”55, nice jump from 34 to 22nd (Elite B).
Sam Parker #81 - Sam joins us from the USA and has submitted a full timesheet. Good luck in moving up the charts, you have Michael Pilkington infront of you which is as good a place to start as any.
Andrew Howes #54 - The mid table battles continue as Andrew chases Manning and Lenny. Some nice times on BC3 and MC.
Florian Chollet #12 - A great two weeks for the Frenchman as he closes the gap on Martin. They’re all square on laps but Martin has the advantage on a couple of course times. Keep busting out the 3 and 5laps Florian! Nice RDP2 flap though.
Jonathan Wheatley #38 - Another relatively new player on the scene who’s making some waves. One to watch at this rate. Huge av fin cuts. Is Wheatley going to be a challenger for the UK throne in a month or two? Lets wait and see.
Alan McArthur #36 - So.. a 10pt av fin cut? 5 more points and you’ll pass me Seriously though, this guy has come out of no where and is looking very promising. Lets see how he gets on in week 3 and if he’ll be a contender for POM.
Alvaro Fababu #63 - An intensive 2 weeks of play by Alvaro sees him push up to #63 ahead of Sampson. Not much of the compeitition in the late 50’s is active so he’s got a good chance of passing a few players this week. Will anyone come back and defend against him? Nice pr on SGB 3Lap 0’58"71.
Andrew Manning #53 - Not a huge couple of weeks for Manning but he did get a nice double pr on RBC2 5lap 1’43”30 and flap 0’19”08 (Beg A & B).
Kevin Borne #23 - Kevin keeps taking players down. He must have a winning formula for prs! His av fin cut this week sees him just behind Taylor who has been inactive. Yanus is active but not as much as Kevin.
Yunus Aricanli #21 - Simple.. SGB flap 0’13''56 (11th Titan D).
New players:
Jonathan Wheatley - Warwick (UK) Peter Buchan – Need some details (location) etc and needs to resubmit a couple of non-sc times for a full set. Pieter Bol – needs to race the other courses to get a complete time sheet.
POW’s and POM: Week 1 - Florian Chollet – For high level prs. Week 2 - Alan McAurthur - For a great Av fin cut.
Honourable mentions to both Alvaro and Wheatley who narrowly missed out.

News: The first news is that the update below was an April fool and Fenner is still banned. Please remember to post your name on all yahoo group pr submissions. Its been two weeks of play so there has been loads of activity!
Andrew Manning #53 - After a long sabatical Andrew double pr’d on RP 3lap 1’05”05 (Adv B) and 0’19”46. Andrew now sits behind Andrew in the Av Fin rankings.
Matt Ellis #6 - Some great prs from Matt and the pic of the bunch was RVL1 flap 0'05'63 and RGV3 5lap 1'01'25. [Matt, we have to check your SG and SGB times]
Lenny Andreev #50 - Lenny has been moving up the ranks in the last two weeks, he’s creeping into the mix of players around the 50 mark where there is some tight av fin. With a good week this week he could pass both Usher and Penfold! Nice pr on RVL1 flap 0’07'00.
Kevin Borne #24 - This Frenchman is unstoppable at the moment, his rise continues and he is on form! Over the last 2 weeks he’s managed to put some distance between himself and Enzio and is closing in on the inactive Worley.
Florian Chollet #14 - Another Frenchman, this time in the top 20 and Florian has been out of the game for a while, no worries for him though, he made lots of small cuts all over to narrow the gap between him and Alvin. Maybe he’ll sneak past him while Alvin plays other games! Nice time on RKB2!
Jan Olijerhoek #65 - Big av fin cut means Jan is almost a rival to Alvaro! Jan has had a great week and he’s really getting to grips with RRR. Jan is now Bigginner A overall. Work on the GBA courses! Daniel Pabst #17 - Shierings proteche is now closing in on the Brazilian Guilherme Arantes. Guilherme Arantes leads Pabst 42-38 so Daniel should know which courses to target in the next week.
Andrew Howes #52 - A great week for Howes as he rivals the other Andrew, its a race into the top50, keep up the good work and work more on the retro courses this week!
Pierre L'Hoest #1 - He’s like the Stig from Top Gear but better. Will he go for the God? Will he go for sub 1 Av Fin? Who knows?! But what we do know is he’s still busting out the prs, RRR 0’12"12 sounds like he wants to join the battle!
April Thompson #70 - Our highest ranked female (apart from Sean Billingsley , made a suprise return to mksc and made 3 prs, RCI2 flap 0’13”03, RMC4 flap 0’17”85 and RGV3 flap 0’15”04.
Marcus Whitley #73 - Marcus lost some ground to the new players but submitted anough prs to almost break our updating system! Too many to list but keep up the pr’ing and you’ll be in the top 60 in no time!
Kristopher Will #34 - Another big cut, this time from Kristopher. He is sitting just behind fellow Germany Rene and should catch upto him [and me] soon. Nice prs on RGV1 5lap 0'49"55 & flap 0’07"80.
Alvaro Fababu #64 - Alvaro is just about Jan who is also active, they’re neck and neck. Nice RMC1: 5Lap 0’51"16.
Kevin Booth #44 - A couple of prs from Kevin on Ribbon Road 3lap 1'37"11, flap 0’[30"88 and Rainbow Road 3lap 0’55"53. At Int A he could definitely improve his rank if he worked on some of his weaker times.
Julien Cloutier-Brassard #55 - Julien passed his fellow Canadian team mate and settles himself into the mid 50’s. Its only a 3pt av fin drop to get inside the top 50. Work on your retro laps.
Daniel Sampson #61 - A couple of prs from Sampson this week, RDP3 flap 0’16”08 and SW flap 0’24"95 stood out. Play a bit of RDP2 5lap.
Kevin Black #21 - Kevin’s prs bring him ever closer to passing Luca, Kevin needs to concentrate on his laps if he’s to get more wins on Luca. I predict he’ll pass Luca in two weeks if Luca remains inactive. Nice pr on RMC1 flap 0'07"30.
New players:
A couple of new players in the last 2 weeks;
Ruffin Pierre joins us from France Andrew Buchan Is one of two brothers who joins us from the UK Peter Buchan (12)The second of the brothers Ben McElmurry (18) from the USA.
POW’s and POM:
POW Week 3 - Alvaro Fababu (Julien narrowly missed out) POW Week 4 - Kevin Borne (Will narrowly missed out)
POM – March – Kristopher Will, honourable mention to Kevin for his great month.

After months of deliberating the validity of our new hero Fried and I have found out some new information from Nintendo which allows us to verify if a run was recorded via emulator or on a "real" run. I won't go into much detail as this information still allows us to catch cheaters. Therefore we can now officially announce our new number 1 World Champion - TERRENCE "the legitimate" FENNER!! *cue applause*. Check the stat pages for his new no#1 time on RR beating Hirano, his new 0'01"** lap on RKB1 and many more!
Congratulations!
