| 01 April 2012: "April fools update" |

Since Christophe humiliated me 24/7 I decided to write an update to satisfy his needs. There was some high level activity going on, so let's take a look... I guess we should start with #2 Andy Lundeen . His AF stands at 2.650, barely .2 behind Seb. He cut a stunning 1.6 AF since the last update, which is very huge at his level. I don't think I ever saw someone at #2 with such a big AF cut. His PRs included several WRs, namely RMC1 44"40, RBC3 1'13"56, RDP2 1'07"93, LC Flap 18"81, LC 3lap 1'03"40, SL Flap 17"72, SGB 45"56, SG 44"31, RDP3 Flap 9"10, RDP3 5lap 59"63. That makes a total of 10 new World Records. In the WR tally, Seb still leads with a total of 41 WRs, followed by Andy with 24 WRs. If Seb doesn't make a surprising comeback, it's only a matter of day when Andy will claim #1 of the world. Be prepared! I should also mention that he jumped straight from Myth C to Myth A, being the second person ever to achieve this in MKSC history. #9 Robert "Godfather of MKDS" Szabo sent some times in, only resulting in a 0.0375 AF cut. The cut would have been bigger if it wasn't for Andy nearly destroying the charts. Most of the top 10 suffered a ~ +0.1 AF cut. Next in line is #25 Michael Vogt . His 2 point AF cut made him jump in front of veteran #26 Cole Gilbert. There's a small AF gap in front of him again with the next player being #24 Nicholas Harvey. #31 Christophe Charignon feels like a pro because he overtook #32 Timur Ahmad with this update. What he does not know is that it's April 1st and we're all just hoarding times to pass him on April 2nd. He'll probably be outside of the top 100 soon enough. Enjoy it as long as it lasts! #39 Jonathan Steel from the UK was active once again with a 3 point AF cut, joining the top 40. He's also close to getting Expert B and reaching out his hands to get a true Hero. Austrian #53 Sebastian Wimmer pulls a "Usain Bolt" and runs through the bottom of the charts with the speed of light. An 8 point AF cut made him land well into the top 60, preparing for his next sprint into the top 50. #68 Frederick Hutchington tried to imitate Sebastian Wimmer, but only managed to get a 7 point AF cut. #71 Krystian Wieczorek tried to imitate him as well, but then he realized he can do ever better and scored a 16 point AF cut to jump 15 places. At this pace he'll surely be a rival to those active ones in front of him. #98 Stefan glosby was scared to lose his top 100 spot because of all the activity, so he made some PRs for a small 1.5 AF cut. Last but not least #100 James "Make me an Alien" Mekealian joined the top 100 with a 12 point AF cut. Movements outside the top 100(feels good to say such a thing) include Stephen de Winter (-3.774). New World Records Well, there were 10 new records as stated above already. RMC1 44"40 GOD RBC3 1'13"56 GOD RDP2 1'07"93 GOD LC Flap 18"81 GOD LC 3lap 1'03"40 GOD SL Flap 17"72 GOD SGB 45"56 GOD SG 44"31 GOD RDP3 Flap 9"10 GOD RDP3 5lap 59"63 Newbie...no GOD of course All driven by Andy Lundeen. Awards PoW for the secod week of March goes to Krystian Wieczorek for a good level of activity. PoW for the third & fourth week of March go to Andy Lundeen for his WR madness. PoM for April goes to Andy Lundeen for his crazy activity and WRs. PoQ poll will be up soon(normally TvK takes care of this, so I bet he'll open a thread soon, otherwise I'll do it). ~Timur |
