14 August 2011: "MVT rages"
Here's your (nearly) weekly MKSC newspaper.

ANDY LUNDEEN ON THE WAY TO CHAMPIONSHIP

#4 Andy Lundeen (USA) approaches the glorious top 3 in MKSC, coming dangerously close to the inactive Mickael Smolen. Andy has been rising through the ranks lately like a pro and there is no clue how far it will take him. Though you have to add that #3 Mickael Smolen has not cheated...uhm, I mean, he has not modified his game device for ZZMT, so that doesn't really count for Andy anyway. Just get #2 or #1 already!

CHRISTIAN WILD MORE LIKE CHRISTIAN MILD

#10 Christian Wild (Germany) was rather calm this week with a 0.5 AF cut, closing the gap between him and Robert Szabo. Again, Robert is not using ZZMT so that wouldn't really count anyway as well. Non-ZZMT power!

ALAN MCARTHUR'S PR STREAK CONTINUES

#12 Alan McArthur (Australia) had another week with a really small AF cut (0.0125). Constant effort always pays off somewhen, I'd bet 5€ that he'll reach the top 10 again(where he was thrown out by Andy and Chris).

THE FORGOTTEN SON: CHRISTOPHE CHARIGNON

#47 Christophe Charignon (USA) (I won't forget you this time!) sneaked his way into the top 50 with a nice 3.5 point AF cut. Nice fact: He overtook site staff member Tom Gaffikin with this update! Nice work.

ANDREA GARDINA...I WANT PIZZA

#66 Andrea Gardina (Italy) gave everything he had and got a proper 1.5 AF cut this week. Too bad he didn't overtake anyone in the progress, but in front of him is William Lacey, another staff member. Show him that you're better than him and feel good afterwards.

UPCOMING ENEMY...SAMUEL ROMANENS

#85 Samuel Romanens (Switzerland) scored a big 6 point AF cut to bring his AF under 100! Welcome in the "No more zombies zone"...oh wait, that was something different. Welcome in Rapture...oh no. Welcome, anyway.

IF YOU GET INTO THE TOP 100, YOU'LL GET YOUR OWN NEWS(sponsored by Zarkov industries)

#110 Arnaud Guepey (France) and #112 Sebastian Wimmer (Austria) were active outside of the top 100. Arnaud got the biggest AF cut this week with 14, Sebastian took it easy and made a small 3.5 AF cut.

Awards

Not that much activity at the top, so we can look at some lower ranked players. Christophe Charignon gets the Player of the Week award for getting into the top 50!

That's it. ~Timur
