Ok, so hai. This is Zarkov doing the first of his highly anticipated news updates for the MKSC site. Not sure what Howes has been doing these past 2 months, so im just going to make it up. He has been embarking on his lifelong dream of starting an experimental jazz band in Spain. Unfortunately his plane to Spain was caught in the recent Ash Cloud so he had to parachute out to a small island inhabited only by angry pygmies. As of right now he is locked in a leadership battle with the leading angry pygmy, and will be taking part in the first of 3 televised debates tonight. Fortunately for him, Tom landed on the same island and so decided to be Howes PR consultant (see what I did there). At this moment Howes is leading in the opinion polls by 6%. Vote Howes! So, I guess you wanna hear about who has been active these months. What, you dont? Well bo u, imma tell you anyway. (I dont know when or what times have been updated lately so im just going with the first time since the last update up until now.) William Lacey, yes you heard me right, decided to stop harrassing Shane Quinlan for once and play some MKSC. He sent in a full timeset and hence joins the site. But seen as this submission was way back in March, il fill you in with what he has been doing since. He has reset the MB 76 times, eaten 27 potato based dinners and danced 7 very sexy Irish jigs. On top of all this he has become the Irish MKSC Champion! In your face Robert Lee. William's the daddy! Actually Rob, is he your dad? He's like twice your age. Another new member we can welcome is none other than Sami's prodigal niece Leyla Cetin. Though her times have only been allowed through because of a secret email vote. Apparentley Etch wasnt very happy about this and decided to become a doctor in protest. Anyway, welcome Leyla from Futurama! Speaking of Etch, he took time out from said profession and duly delivered some surgical times on MC4 and CI1. Oh zing Clark, loving the puns. Nicholas 'This time its Biblical' Harvey must of had a touch of the divine inspiration recently as he has sent simply tons of PRs. Each one neatly wrapped up in their own individual yahoo groups submission. It was like Christmas opening each of those up and finding another pr wrapped in a tiny USA flag! Though Nick, in future I want some patriotism in your messages. They all seemed very anti American. Kevin 'padz' McAteer was also active this month sending in alot (not quite as many as Harvey mind) of prs. Including some RVL1 times of 49"63 and 6"58. C U Next Tuesday, Kmacc! Next on the list is Manuel Babjar. The awesome German with a Spanish name. Off on a tangent here, but did you know Vladimir Putin is from France and Jurgen Klinnsman is from Wales? Well you do now. Anyway, Manuel sent pretty much a full list of prs in, plus he loves Flash Gordon, so for that he gets POM. Oh and the fact he nailed a 43 point AF cut. Another guy who sent in almost the same amount of prs is Dutch wonderkid Alvin van Asselt. You know, the guy from the Rainbow Road vid. The one who sings "Its called a road, its called Rainbow Road. Its where you go when you die". Yeah, thats really him. I dont know how far he moved up in the ranks, but I bet its quite high. Get it? High? He is from Holland. Amsterdam? You guys are humourless. Ok, hes now 12th. You know what prs mean? Points! And you know what points mean right? Thats right! Prizes! Though this guy doesnt get any. Christophe Charignon (the Spanish guy with a French name) only managed a 2.700 cut to his AF. Considering the big cuts everyone else has been making lately, youre letting the team down bro. Must try harder next time! Tom van 'Dont Hessel the' Kessel from Belgium (figures) was on fire this month. He was only second to Manuel in terms of AF cut. He smashed some of his times with prs on YD and LP. Btw, you guys should hear the MKSC LP. Its full of tunes that melt the heart. German Timur Ahmad (oh please) comes in 3rd in terms of AF cuttage after some prs on the retro courses. Infact most of you were playing the retro courses. Go buy SMK already you cheap skates. Sami is a much better overlord anyway. Trust me, if you say you will only join the SMK site if he makes you your own personalised t-shirt, he will. Try it out and see! Other people in action this month were #89 Thomas Jordet Larsen, #5 Florian Chollet, #61 Daniel Sampson (and Delilah), #87 Kevin Pillinger, #44 Chuck Foster, Matt Davis and Adam Frederick. I would go into detail about all your prs, but this is already the longest MKSC update by about 3 times. Well in my head it is. Il try and do this a bit more regular if you guys want. Or I might just do what everyone else is doing and just watch TV and make a grunting noise whenever anyone asks about when the next update is. Awards Manuel Babjar. POM. For 43 point AF cut and admission of Flash Gordon love. New Players William Lacey from Ireland. Leyla Hasso from Space. |
