| Movement Last week's top ten action continues right where it left off. #5 David Roldan moves closer towards #3 Giulio Centrone and #4 Alibis van Deaf with a 0.4844 AF cut. Another week or two like that will push David over the top, being the first change in the top four since Ben entered it in 2008. Six PRs came in from David, all Gods, and they included LM 1'32"927 + 30"277, TTC 1'32"661 + 30"356 and FS 1'38"905 + 32"067. There are still times that need more improving from him, but they wouldn't effect the PRB charts, which he probably doing intentionally. Because his times go to both charts, he had similar cuts as he moves very close to #3 Abel Marques. David also looks poised to become Myth D in PRB as well, that should come any week now. Right behind David, #6 Dylan Gaunt made a massive 1.3124 AF cut to move back up two spots into his position of two weeks ago. He hit seven nice PRs, which were DS flap 29"486 God, PG 1'26"997 + 27"909 Gods, RMC1 3lap 41"825 God, MB 3lap 1'10"733 Myth B, SG flap 21"266 God and YC 3lap 1'26"087 God. If you haven't figured it out already, that PG flap is a WR, Dylan's first ever. It also is Non-PRB, and yet he was able to edge out Thomas' PRB time, impressive! Some of these cuts translated over to the PRB charts, where Dylan made a 0.9687 AF cut to jump up three spots to #8, so he is now top ten on both charts! #7 Florian Lorang lies close ahead in PRB, so that is a goal for him to reach by the month's end. Next up, #7 Timur Ahmad lost a spot to Dylan despite his activity. He took off 0.3125 AF, at least giving him a bigger cushion over others behind him for now. Just two PRs out of Timur this week, the first being BC2 3lap 1'33"111 Myth B. The next was much more important; PG 3lap 1'26"562 - Timur's second non-prb record! Even if he didn't have huge cuts and got passed, at least he was able to add another record to his name. Rounding out the top twenty altogether, #18 Matthew Ord made a small random comeback on AF. He hit some nice top ten times of 1'45"637 + 34"776, both Gods. His 0.4844 AF cut also puts him very close to #17 Milan Pacino, so he can steal the #2 UK spot if he decides to stay active. If not, he can at least say he finally reached Myth B overall, not a bad compensation. After a few MIA weeks, #39 Timothee Le Borgne came back with a 2.0312 AF cut, although he is still digging his way through an AF graveyard. Nonetheless, he still had some good times, five of six PRs ranking at least Myth, and one being his seond God time, with an FS flap of 32"643. Continuing on this path will surely lead him to Titan A overall, and maybe close to #35 Simon Levy again. Before he got his DS taken away until Easter, #63 Marcus Whitley made a decent 3.2031 AF cut, and was able to accomplish the goal of surpassing #66 Thomas Rielly for #5 in Australia. When he comes back, he can look forward to marching towards the top fifty, as well as passing #48 Adam Nelson for #4 Aussie. Nine weeks and counting, #73 Stefan Mayr continues consistent activity with a 2.4218 AF cut. Nothing huge, but it moved him ahead of fellow German #74 Phillipp Hellmers. Lastly, #83 Thomasson Bastien Koopafou submitted another random batch of PRs, resulting in a big 14.8594 AF cut to leap up nine spots. All of these players made rank promotions this week as well: Marcus to Titan D, Stefan to Titan E, and Thomasson to Hero A. Movement outside the top 100 included #202 Troy Dunbeck -12.6090 (Expert E to Expert D), #286 Christian Wild -3.1410, #397 Andrew Howes -12.0470 (Intermediate B to Intermediate A), #517 Colton Crowe -10.8750 and #623 Gabriele Magi -11.6400. New Records There was 1 WR improved (blue) and two non-prb times (pink). Dylan has become a strong player, and decided it was finally time to add his name to the WR charts. He did this by taking down the PG flap WR with a time of 27"909. He didn't even use PRB! Instead he decided to go for it on lap 2 with the polt, and his efforts paid off. As mentioned, Dylan hit a PG flap of 27"909. Staying on the same course, Timur decided to make himself look just as good, sticking with the same course. He took down the PG 3lap record with a time of 1'26"562. He apparently has potential to beat the PRB 3lap in Non-PRB.. let's see it happen! Awards He had a great week at the top, cutting over a full point which is tough at his position. He also entered the PRB top ten for the first time. Outside from his strong cut, he also hit his first WR ever. For such an achievement, Dylan Gaunt wins the POW for the third week of February! ~Kmacc |
