| Movement It has been a while since France has been in the top ten. Well now that has finally changed, with the strong efforts of PRB #10 Nicolas Barco. Nicolas has been working hard towards this goal lately hitting lots of new PRB times. This weekk, he pulled out a 0.8125 AF cut from seven PRs, including nice times on PC with 51"899 Myth D and 17"183 Titan A. His cuts were just enough to slide in ahead of #11 Michele Magnaterra by less than a tenth of an AF point. Nicolas' next goal should now be to reach and surpass Canadian Champion #9 Cole Gilbert, who is just another 0.9 AF ahead of him. With more efforts like this week yielded, he may even reach that goal by the end of June. Nicolas is also progressing towards a rank promotion, sitting at 7.6406 ARR. It shouldn't be long before he reaches Titan B if he continues. Spain may have lost to USA today in the Confederation Cup, but they still have some bright spots, like #26 David Roldan. David had an astounding week, bashing some times and accumulating a strong 3.2031 AF cut to jump up two spots from last week, passing two Americans (how ironic!). One of those players was #27 Ted Kim, who David also passed on the PRB chart for #22 with his 2.1875 AF cut on that chart. David hit a bunch of good PRs this week, but his best work came on LC1, where he clocked in times of 1'12"497 God and 23"824 God, both ranked in all the way at #3. Adding on to his already great week, after missing out on Myth E just barely last week, David cleared the barrier completely with a big ARR cut to become the newest Myth player! He is nearly halfway to Myth D already, and shows no signs of slowing down. Continuing his run towards the top 30, Ireland Champion #32 Robert Lee made six PRs to make up for a 1.0938 AF cut that brought him up another two spots in the AF ladder. All of Robert's PRs were very consistently ranked, and all within the mid-titan range. Bringing his weaker tracks to that more consistent level should help him to jump over #31 James Leare by the end of June. Like David, Robert missed out on an ARR promotion last week, but made it over this week as he becomes the newest Titan A player. Robert may become the next Myth player as well, most likely having to battle it out with Zach who isn't as often active, but is much closer as of now to the goal. Maybe another player looking for a myth spot in the future, #35 Pol Gonzalez gave some more support in the rankings with a small 0.3906 AF cut. Pol didn't jump above anyone, but he is very close to passing both #33 Joep van Gelder and #34 Derek Rogers, the same two players Robert just leaped over this week. Pol should jump over those two next week without a problem. He may approach Titan A overall as well like Robert did this week, with his ARR currently sitting at 6.8438. For the rest of the top 100, PRB #55 Timothee Le Borgne made a 0.9219 AF cut but fails to move up a spot. Timothee has been focusing a lot lately on PRB, which has haulted his Non-PRB climb after a very productive May. Last but not least, #99 Phillipp Hellmers made a 1.1250 AF cut, narrowly falling short of rival #98 Mickael Smolen. Phillipp did become Hero C overall though. Movement outside the top 100 included #119 Richard Penkalla -3.8900, #122 Patryk Choma -16.8280 (Expert A to Hero E), #134 Ryan Ortiz -22.7500 (Expert B to Expert A), #200 Louis Tounet -5.9690, #205 Dimitri Mentali -0.4220, #267 Jose Karica -6.6250, #276 Copa Canbana -22.7650, #297 Tom Mannings -18.2030 (Advanced D to Advanced C) and #546 Andy Carter -34.0310 (Beginner C to Beginner B). New Records There were no new records this week. Awards This player had some huge cuts this week near the top, cranking out some very strong PRs and being promoted to Myth E overall. For some great times and movement, David Roldan wins the POW for the third week of June! Coming soon: Etch curb stomps more people in MKSC ~Kmacc |
