09 October 2008: "Brutus new World Champ?"
Movement

The battle of the best mkds players continue with #1 Thomas Bolton and #2 Ben Stoneman hitting WR's all through the week.

Ben kicked things off with nice improvements on MC closing in on those prb records with 1'30"499 and a sub 29 flap of his own with 28"966! His other prb times were on PC grabbing the number three spots with 51"813 and 17"144. Ben also beat his non-prb PC 3lap with 55"493 God. Onto the number one times, Ben managed to take the BC 3lap record with 1'52"719 and the over year old CCB 3lap record with 1'24"133! Like I have been saying, his AF slowly gets lower and lower finally going under 3.0 so a free round of Foster's on the house!

Thomas Bolton was also on the hunt though taking his revenge where he wanted it. First up was DKP flap saving time from no where again getting 34"199. He also bested #13 Abel Marques' MC 3lap using egg1 instead of the dry bomber this time with 1'30"206. Thomas gave BC some runs also but as we all know, finishing all three laps is a feat in itself so he settled for improving his flap to 36"597. Ben has 6 times left which are not God while Thomas has those pesky 2. Chuck Norris did the LC2 Gods ages ago but back then it really seemed impossible. When will this game's greatest forces finally push these old standards into the grave?

Next big times came from one of USA's finest, #17 Marshall LeVett took it to the curb on WS driving some damn good times with the shortcut hitting 1'52"900 and 37"042. He also gave his non-prb times a redo and came up with 1'56"970 Myth C and 38"176 Myth A. Lastly was a lone BC flap of 37"467 Myth E. Marshall moved up a spot on non-prb but remains at #12 for prb. His times are still pretty unbalanced so the sky is the limit for him. Only thing that limits players seems to be finding the time to play these days!

There was also some other good stuff in the top 100 but whatever.

Movement outside the top 100 included the usual gang of idiots.

New Records

There were 5 WR's improved (blue) and four non-prb times (pink).

Thomas Bolton started off with DKP flap bringing that shit down to an absurd 34"199. Ben Stoneman quickly came back to attack the BC 3lap stealing that one now with 1'52"719. Thomas first went back to get MC 3lap with 1'30"206 but came up short on BC only improving his flap to 36"597. Lastly, Ben finished things off on CCB 3lap with 1'24"133 taking a very old record down. Despite that, Thomas was able to come up with the sub but more on that next update!

For non-prb, all of the times above except MC 3lap unless you can't realize that yourself.

Awards

Following up his pr spree from two months ago, he went on a hot streak to reach Titan E overall and cut some decent AF % in the process. For his good efforts lately, Dallas Wilde wins the POW for the first week of October!
