27 August 2008: "Time Trials should have a 16+ age restriction to avoid exploitation of kids with too much free time."
Slightly delayed news this week. Only by a bit.

Movement

#19 David Schiering raced 9 new PRs, 6 of them in 60Hz. In the overall ladder, he made up some lost ground on Matt Tanzer and Jonathan Steel but needs another 2 AF pts to become #18. In 60Hz he passed Trystan Pugh and is on his way to reaching 19th-place Trystan Eyma. His six 60Hz PRs ranged from Myth A to Titan C (a gap of 7 standards!). And there was no Baby Park lap involved, so maybe David still has lots of potential left in 60Hz.

#85 Scott Abbey just become active again when #86 Ian Gee was about to pass him. Scott remains ahead by less than 1pt for now. The same happened in 60Hz as well, where Ian passed several players and Scott made a small 0.2 cut to hold on to a 0.1 lead. He's close to becoming a Titan, so maybe he should keep going.

#136 Jivago Pacheco da Silva passed #138 Alvin van Asselt (a small payback for last week) and Dave le Clair. Brazilian rival #117 Paulo Roberto Presotto nullified Jivago's 5 PRs with his own set of 6 PRs and remains about 20 places ahead.

#195 Jeremy Huang had a small cut of about 4pts, but he passed 6 players with it and reached the top-200. He passed four players in 60Hz including 'the other JH', Joshua House. Actually, there are 15 JH players -- it's the most common initials in MKDD, ahead of 13 JS! In fact, the top-10 all begin with either a J (JH,JS,JD,JK,JG) or an M (MS,MH,MR,MF,MM). See if you can think of a karter for each. Speaking of initials, #214 Alvaro Fababu and #275 Alencar Faria were also active. Alencar is now 201st in 60Hz... almost there.
