| 23 May 2007: "It'd better be a good final tonight!" |

| Movement It was a quiet week for the top 10. #1 Hendrik Bunde lost a WR to #3 Andreas and dropped back 0.06 in AF, which puts him within 0.09 AF pts of #2 Aron Langerak. #6 Jean-Christophe Lacastaignerate made a 0.3 cut, which now puts him half a point behind #5 Vince. #12 Bo Garman said he wouldn't play for a while, but he seems to be back -- and he continued from where he left off, by passing #13 Jonathan Steel and #14 Paul Maes! Another 0.1 to go and he should pass #11 Tristan Eyma, as well! The road to the top 10 would be very difficult, though, because #10 Olivier Peruch is a huge 5 AF pts up. #18 Andrew Math has broken the top-20, passing #19 Paul Tanney and #20 Olivier Lavenant. He also passed Olivier in 60Hz to reach 8th place. Andrew scored 6 PRs, including 2 God times on Peach Beach. He should be able to get the 60Hz WRs there soon. #39 Matt Tanzer got his second God time this week, and made it to the top-40 by passing Andre Wachsmuth and Kevin Borne with a 1.8pt AF cut. He's also reached Titan A! But he still has that one single Hero time left that is cramping his style... #58 Arnaud Teil scored new PRs on DDJ and passed three players, two of them fellow Frenchman. Thomas Lander and Joey Michorius are very narrowly ahead of him. Arnaud says that he didn't have much luck on the other levels. But that's okay for France, because their Army is getting some new recruits. #89 Kevin Sirman cut almost 7pts in AF, and #104 Florian Vaz could make the top-100 by the end of the month. Kevin's 15 PRs including another two Titan C scores (he got one the previous week). #121 Max Reese reported 10 PRs over the week. His other 22 PRs date to 2005 or 2006, so it's about time he made a comeback. Max has no excuse not to play over the next few weeks: he's only a few standards shy of Hero C, he just got passed by Alessandra, and his friend Marvin Mester is all the way up at #75. It's business as usual for #152 Ryan Stevens, with yet another high-flying week (32pt cut) to give himself a good shot at POM. Ryan scored a Myth D time on PB last week, and followed it up this week with a Titan D on the 3lap. He's also made it to Hero D with his new PRs. #191 Patrick Hewson got his first Hero times this week, racing 2x Hero D on Wario Colosseum. Apart from those, he had 9 more PRs for a 13pt AF cut. #282 Zach Tabak's 22 PRs and 44pt AF cut were the biggest of the week. The US player passed 39 others. You know that Hero D time he got on Baby Park last week that was top 150? It looks like he improved it once again. Still Hero D, but now his time is 121st in the table. Considering that BP is one of the most played courses, it sounds like Zach's got a whole lot of potential. He's certainly counts as a course-specialist for the moment. He missed out on Expert by two standards... should be rectified within the next few days. Honourable mentions: #559 Emeric Gosselin (Int C) New Records Only two days after Hendrik scored that Daisy Cruiser 1'36"94, Andreas Rudmarker pulled off a 1'36"850. It's a 0.09 lead on Hendrik and 0.14 on Aron, and also a G+3 time. New Players Lucas Simon-Wambach, USA (528th, Int B) |
