Week 1
This POW goes to Pat Bertovich for some good sc improvements.
Week 2
The best karting this week was done by Robert Szabo. Has anyone else noticed that whoever wins Week 2's POW keeps winning the POM for that month? Weird.
Week 3
Lucas Oliver was the best player this week with 6 new top PRs that put him into 9th place.
Week 4
This POW goes to Alan Walters for a nice cut bringing him into the double digit ranks.
March POM
There were a few players with very nice improvements during March, but the one that stands out the most is definitely Paddy McFlory, who was the Player of the Month for cutting 70 points off his AF and cutting through the Elite ranks.
Week 1
The POW for this week goes to Maurice Fleer for a nice cut that brought him close to King A.
Week 2
The strongest week anyone had this month was Week 2 for Paddy McFlory. He took 20% off his AF and went from Elite F to B.
Week 3
This was a pretty quiet week compared to the previous week but Maurice Fleer had some good improvements with 13 new PRs.
Week 4
The winner of this POW is Alan Walters for a nice cut that helped him pass 10 people.
Up at the top it was that man Vincent Tolhuis moving again, passing Steven Zwartjes to reach 14th in nonSC. Below him Tim Everett and Zoran Tintor both added to their cuts from July but did not move any places, staying at 28 and 35. Nathan Stinson climbed a place to 53 and Brett Wingert also made some cuts but stayed at 62. The bigger moves came just below that, where John Falls Marshall, Richard Karlsson and Matthew Little were all in the red. John went from 78 to 68, Matthew one place better from 90 to 79 but Richard had the most impressive move, blasting into the top 100 at 73 with a 35 place jump.
There was plenty of action at the top of the SC rankings in August. Second-placed man Vincent closed the gap on world number one Karlo Tomazelli and broke the FS 3lap world record in the process! Again, Brett made some cuts but stayed in the same place while Matthew and Pat Bertovic both moved up a place at 18 and 20. Just below that, Tim Everett went up 6 to 22 and Nathan climbed 9 to reach 27. Robert Szabo rose 2 places to 44 and just managed to hold off Maurice Fleer, who jumped 8 to tie for 45th with Stacy Needham. Daniel Lesiak improved to 63 with a cut of almost 13 AF points, John added to his nonSC cuts to make it to 79 and Josh Layne went from 93 to 89. Robin Usher was the final player to improve his SC ranking in August, ending up at 119.
Daniel was again on the move back in nonSC, this time flying up from 140 to 111. Robins six-place climb got him to 135 and Pat was in action here too, rising a place, just ahead of new player Andreas Rudmarker, coming straight in at 143! Zachary Nelson sprang up over 30 places to 149 with his 29.6 AF cut, while Cole Gilbert was another player continuing to improve at 153.
Outside the top 200, David Landry went up to 218, but Jacob Goldfinger claimed the second biggest AF cut of the month with a big 86 point improvement getting him to 229. The biggest cut of all was that of Nick Harvey, slicing nearly 105 from his AF and bringing him all the way from 415 to 286. The last nonSC mover this month was Aidan Bayne, up to 415.
New players to tell you about include Andreas, joining at an impressive Elite A! Here they all are:
Andreas Rudmarker 143 Elite A
Anthony Spease 196 Elite C
Karina Villa 204 Elite C - 148 SC
Guilherme Arantes 403 Expert F
Jarrod Grimmon 450 Advanced D - 328 SC
Christophe Cosentino 559 Beginner D
Saul Pickett 580 Newbie D
Thats all for this update, folks, but watch out for the September update coming shortly, especially for more news on Vincent trying to take down Karlo on the SC rankings!
At the top of the rankings world no. 2 Karlo Tomazelli dropped his AF a fraction by improving his CM time, but the larger impact came from Vincent Tolhuis, who moved from 17th up to 15th and edged closer to that dual GOD status. Elsewhere in the top 50, Tim Everett and John Santamaria both made PRs but stayed in their respective positions at 28 and 41. Zoran Tintor was the only other man in the top 50 to join Vincent in the red, hitting a 4.5 AF cut to climb to 35 and leapfrog Finn Berger, despite some cuts from Finn. Zoran also made Legend A in the process!
On the SC charts, Karlo was strengthening his grip on the number one spot with a PR on LR. Zoran was again making PRs, but this time it was only just enough to hold off Pat Bertovic, who climbed a place from 22 to 21 and finished only just behind Zoran. Tim, Robert Szabo and George Dimitrou all made small cuts but did not move and John Falls Marshall blasted into the top 100 at 94 with a 49 point AF cut.
John added to his SC cuts with an even bigger non SC cut, dropping nearly 64 points off his AF to reach 78 from down at 144. Sjoerd Werkhoven managed to better that with a 76 point cut that lifted him all the way up to 117. Daniel Lesiak continued moving up the rankings from 148 to 140. Cole Gilbert was another strong mover, shooting up the charts from 203 to 161 with a cut of more than 40.
Just outside the top 200, Troy Ullman made a nice move of almost 30 AF points to 201 and Austin Gates climbed a couple to 265. Cliff Webster also made a small improvement to end the month at 366.
Five new players in July to tell you about, including a couple of karters starting at Elite:
Ryan White 191 Elite C
Sebastian Stellmacher - 197 Elite D
Jacob Goldfinger 308 Semi-Pro C
Peter S. Gottwald 414 Intermediate B
Aidan Bayne 421 Advanced B
Thats all for July, but August will be coming up very soon!
February POM
February was a great month for one player, who cut 30% off his AF to enter the top 100 and more than 3.0 off his ARR to become King B. The Player of the Month was Maurice Fleer.
1st Week
MK64 had just been released on the Wii's Virtual Console, and the first player to take advantage of that was Cole Gilbert. He wins the POW for cutting an impressive 25% off his AF this week.
2nd Week
Maurice Fleer wins this POW for continuing his improvements with 16 new PRs in an otherwise quiet week.
3rd Week
The POW for this week goes to Ben O'Brien, who climbed from Master D to Elite F.
4th Week

Week 2
Zoran and Maurice were the highlights again this week, each having probably their best week of January here. Zoran cut his AvgFin down to below 75, but Maurice Fleer wins this POW for climbing all the way from Elite F to A.
Week 3
This week was much quieter. Zoran Tintor wins the POW for reaching the Legend ranks and making the only big improvement of the week.
Week 4
The POW winner this week was Thomas van Leeuwen, who made a nice 10% AvgFin cut and went from Pro A straight to Elite F.
