Wednesday, September 28, 2005 - WR Page Update - by Pier-Yves at 10:17 pm
Sorry for taking this long but I was quite busy with school lately and tonight was my first evening off in a month.

On September 19th, Karlo Tomazelli beat the longest standing WR help by Alex Penev on LR sc 3lap. His time is 1'17"53* in which he used a 1-2-0 shroom strat. As for the laps they were 26"79 - 26"34 - 24"40, his first lap was about "6 off Penev then 2nd lap was "3 off Penev (which was a 1 shroomer for Penev hehe) so seeing this Karlo tryed the mylestyle on final and got it so his 3rd lap was faster then Penev's WR run lap by 1"9 which give him not only a sub 1'18 but even a mid 1'17 time!

He now hold 3rd place on the overall chart all by himself.

Updated again. In the Legends, Eddie Taylor was active. In the High Kings, all three karters, Sean Sullivan, David Taylor, and Vincent Tolhuis were active. Vincent and David both managed to pass Sean, but Sean didn't play much non-SC, and everyone in this rivalry is VERY close right now. In the Low Kings, Nathan Cromwell and John Santamaria were both active, but John was more active and passed Nathan for third place in that rivalry.

Sunday, September 18, 2005 - WR Page Update - by Pier-Yves at 1:19 pm
On september 10th Karlo Tomazelli set a new WR on YV 3lap by improving the time that Michael Jongerius had set by 0"07. His new WR time is 1'25"73* and the splits were 28"44 - 28"74 - 28"55.

Jongerius WR count is slowly lowering even if he still have a confortable lead with 21 WRs and Karlo move up the same chart going from 7th to 3rd tied!

Saturday, September 10, 2005 - WR Page Update - by Pier-Yves at 1:11 am
New WR this week was done by William Lacey on MR 3lap. He used the new strat and cut through the grass inside final curve on lap 1 and 2 but didn't try it on 3rd lap. The new WR time is 1'13"44*. The splits were 24"42/"55/"47, considering the final lap on the previous WR was 24"39 this can go lower but we'll have to see.

With this he get in a three way tie for 5th place overall while everyone previously tied at 7 with him goes down to 8.

They are updated with the times from one day ago. Loads of ranking promotions in the King and high Elite ranks. But also some good ranking improvements by the Legend+ and Legend A players, especially by Trystan Pugh and Greg Lewis.

Saturday, September 03, 2005 - Awards - by Michael at 6:44 pm
The Awards page has been updated. Check it out to find out who won the POW and POM awards since the last week of May.

Some of the weeks were quite close. Jamie White and Cooper Lovera lost a few close calls to McMullan and Lewis. Simon Laflamme was close to a POW award twice in the month July. McCanna could've easily won more than 2 POWs if Lewis wouldn't be around. Lucas Oliver also had some POW worthy weeks, but lost to Greg Lewis. Miller and Bukrim were close to POW awards for their shortcut achievements in the 2nd and 3rd week of August, but just lacked the consistency and number of PRs. And lots of fast climbers in the King/Elite ranks were climbing fast, but just not fast enough to be faster than one of the other powerhouses in the particular weeks, for example: Kyle Simon, Sean Sullivan, Martin Morrissette, David Taylor, Vincent Tolhuis.

Legends
Interesting events were all the Mario Raceway PRs from various players, including a very strong 6th ranked time from Lucas Oliver and a PR from retired Kevin Booth... In shortcuts Karlo Tomazelli hit some sweet times and passed Bukrim and Ihnatenko for 3rd place in AvgFin! In non-shortcut Michael Fried pulled away from Sami Cetin on the AvgFin rankings and almost closed the gap to William Lacey.
The big ARR cuts came once again from Greg Lewis and PhilMcCanna. Lewis almost reached Legend A. Phil McCanna reached Legend C.
Other actives were Martin McMullan, Cooper Lovera, Eddie Taylor, Finn Berger, Josh Caudle and Richard Keyser.

Kings
King C player David Taylor had a nice 0.4 ARR cut. David Schiering had a good ARR cut as well and reached King D. King F player Vincent Tolhuis got 4 new PRs.

Elites
The Elite ranks were the most active this update. 3 players stood out most: Nathan Cromwell continued his good run this month and reached Elite A. Richard Karlsson and Yohei Suzuki even skipped a full Elite rank. Karlsson went from Elite D straight to Elite B and Suzuki from Elite F to Elite C!
2 players sent us new sets of improvements since a longer time ago: Stefan Mianowski is Elite B now. Jonathan Rolandez is ranked Elite D, which is a pretty impressive improvement compared to his old Intermediate F rank.

Sub-elite
Josh Layne improved from Semi-Pro C to Pro F. Vincent v/d Fluit improved from kartfanatic to Newbie C. Lauren Soutar, Eric Tapani and Andrew Greener were also active.

- Rivalry Update - by Robin at 6:05 am
The rivalries have been updated. Eric Tapani, David Taylor, and Nathan Cromwell made really large improvements to make their leads in their respective rivalries unquestionable. Lots of other people were active in the rivalries so check it out yourself.
