And we have a new player: Ben Broadwater entered the rankings at #98 in nonSC Average Finish, interestingly enough just in front of Laflamme and Worcester. His ARR rank is Pro D.
I'll start first with the most important award decided, the April POM. Congrats to Anton Forsander! During this month, Forsander was the most consistent player, playing nearly all the weeks, and getting very fine PR's. His most significant achievement this month was earning his two ranking promotions in a week, and becoming very close to hitting King F. Forsander received POW of Week 2 for his big achievement.
POWs of April are as follows:
Week 1: Stanley Jeram- Excellent big becnchmark promotion to King F! Can he go all the way?
Week 3+4: Thomas Grandjean- Our semi-new player shows us his skills by dropping a whole ARR point during week 4, and possibly contesting a rivalry with Jeram.
May POWs
Week 1: Ruokai Chen- During this week, I cut 0.5 ARR points, reducing my score to <4.5, which gave me a ranking promotion to Legend D. Also I got some of my first Legend B and C times.
Week 2+3: Anton Forsander- As Kevin so elegantly puts it, it seems he is our upcoming star. Two consectutive POWs, very impressive indeed. He is still executing great PR's and he has reached King F as well!!
Keep up the good work everyone!!
You can view the results at the Tournament page. I created tables with all track rankings, the final points standings, and some additional statistics which you might find interesting. Thanks to you all for participating in the tournament!
We also have some new rivalries shapping up. Many players will be finding someone that they didn't expect next to them in the standings.

Now for this update. Several people were active: Kevin Booth, Michael Liem, Lars Nouwen, Chris Hames and Ruokai Chen represented the legends this week. Chen reached Legend D level, and Hames got a few steps closer to Legend C.
Anton Forsander had a great week and reached King F! He just passed Mark Jones at ARR and AvgFin. Stanley Jeram and Thomas Grandjean were also very active. They both gained significant ARR points, and Jeram just re-passed Grandjean at the ARR list. Mark Jones and Brent Wingert were the other active Kings.
Zack Kennedy improved both his nonSC and SC statistics, and is quickly rising through the elite ranks. Christian Juarez passed a few people, and reached Elite A. Michael Linski cut 0.5 from his ARR score. Xavier San Giorgi got one PR. Eddie Lovins moved from Pro F to Pro C. Todd Worcester climbed 17 places for #108 at nonSC avg finish.
And we have a new member: Joshua Rodenburg from Iowa (USA) entered at #184 at non-shortcut Average Finish. He doesn't have a complete set of 32 nonSC times yet, so he can climb more.

We also have one new member, as Liem said. Todd Worcester has already been killing his times, and is excaping the Expert ranks as we speak. Chances are he will be another player that will make at least the elite ranks as time goes by. Welcome to Kart 64 players!
Most impressive improvement was made by Thomas Grandjean. He moved up from Elite A to King D!!! He'll be forced to take a 4-month break from Mario Kart 64 soon, because of exams and military services. But this awesome performance leaves us no doubt that he'll be able to treaten many higher ranked karters when he returns later this year.
Other rank promotions: Ruokai Chen reached Legend D. Brent Wingert reached King B in non-shortcut, and climbed from Elite B to King F in shortcut! Beau Fairbourn reached King C in non-shortcut. Anton Forsander reached Elite A. Michael Linski did a nice job reaching Elite F shortly after his strong rivals Kennedy and Fields. Zack Kennedy improved his shortcut stats just enough to make him Elite F in both nonSC and SC now.
Arthur van Dalen and Daniel Fields didn't break ranking barriers, but they still got significant ARR cuts.
6 active Legends!
William Lacey improved his own worldrecord at DK's Jungle Parkway. The new WR is 2'16"62 (1'53"62). Michael Liem improved his Rainbow Road times. He drove his first sub-6'00"00 time on PAL during the 1-attempt MK64 tourney! Ben Miller got a PAL WR improvement at Moo Moo Farm flap. He's only 0"02 from the overall World Record by Myles Bukrim now. Lars Nouwen got some new PRs at Rainbow Road and Frappe Snowland. Chris Hames made a nice PR at Bowser Castle, after some time of inactivity. His ARR score is remarkably close to Legend C now... And the 6th active Legend was Ruokai Chen, as mentioned before.
New member: Todd Worcester
Welcome to our latest new member. Todd enters the nonSC AvgFin rankings at #125, with an nice Expert A rank. He seems well motivated to climb the rankings more in the future.
Also, I did get a chance to upload some last corrections Liem made to the FAQ.

Brent Wingert is only 1 point away from King B. Beau Fairbourn, Stanley Jeram and Mark Jones were improving their Luigi Raceway times against eachother, which helped to improve their stats in the King ranks.
The elite ranks showed 4 rank promotions: Anton Forsander reached Elite A. Christian Juarez reached Elite B. And Zack Kennedy and Daniel Fields both made the jump from the Master ranks to Elite F level!
In the sub-elite levels, Marcelo Almeida dos Reis and especially Michael Poelzl made some great ranking improvements. Eddie Lovins and Xavier San Giorgi were also active.
