Thursday, February 24, 2005 - Top100s & Stats Updated - by Michael at 3:40 pm
Top 100s have been updated again. Biggest improver was Karlo Tomazelli. He passed Alex Penev on the rankings with a huge AvgFin cut of 1.563 points (50/32 points!).
Jesse Hristovski's brother Kane also submitted some very fast times. They haven't been added to the site yet though, because we're still in the process of validating the times of both the Hristovskis. We hope we'll be able to succesfully validate them soon, so they can both enter and climb the rankings.

- Top100s & Stats Updated - by Michael at 1:57 pm
Those pages are updated again. Let's give a summary of what happend in the past 1.5 weeks.

World Champion Michael Jongerius did some impressive WR beating on several tracks, to increase his lead on Eric Habrich. His AvgFin score is now 1.781. William Lacey also hit some impressive times, including an overall WR on Wario Stadium 3lap. Greg Ihnatenko is aiming for Legend+ in shortcuts and improved his shortcut ARR score from 0.950 to 0.750. Jeffrey Gutierrez reached Legend A in shortcuts and became #1 on the combined AvgFin list!

Karlo Tomazelli passed Kevin Booth and Thomas Grandjean for 9th place in AvgFin.
Finn Berger reached Legend C. Martin McMullan, COoper Lovera and Eddie Taylor are all closely behind Finn, and all improved their stats a bit. Jamie White improved his ARR score by a full point to reach Legend D. Benoit Guillemard reached King B. Ryan Duescher was also active.

A group of elite players are really on fire. Richard Elliott, Drew Kostecki, Hue Le and Clay McElveen all improved more than 2 full ARR points and all climbed 1 or more letter ranks. Richard Elliott made the biggest jump of them all from 16.594 (Elite F) to 13.094 (Elite B). In the lower elite ranks Pat Bertovich and Justin Conway had ranking promotions to Elite D.

Luiz Galante improved from Semi-Pro F to Semi-Pro C. We can welcome two new members: Curtis Bear from Australia joined at #298 (Advanced D), Melissa Whitaker from the USA joined at #428 (kartfanatic).

- WR page - by MJ at 7:39 am
Well it's been a while since I've updated this one...

Here are the highlights:

William Lacey played some kart again and even managed to do a few wr's. He held both of the BC wrs for a while and still holds the ws flap of 1'12"33**. Michael Fried hit the spiral on Rainbow Road with Yoshi three times which is pretty amazing. The new record is 3'22"76*. Eric Habrich gets two insane times on Cm 3lap and flap. He broke the 1:37 barrier for a 1'36"91* and beats that long standing record of Penev with 31"80*!!! Greg Ihnatenko shortly was the holder of a new YV Sc flap, untill Jesse Hristovski took it away with a perfect jump. The new wr is 5"76*. I did some stuff as well, but just check the wr page:).

P.S. If any of you see some errors or a missing wr, please contact me by email, aim, msn or a MB private message.

Thursday, February 17, 2005 - New Rivalry! - by Robin at 8:08 am
The rivalry section is finally updated! It kicks back off with only one rivalry, but it's an interesting one with four elite karters, Stephen Regat, Hue Le, Richard Elliott, and Clay McElveen. Check it out!

Saturday, February 12, 2005 - Player of the Week & Month Awards - by MJ at 5:26 pm
1st week
There was hardly any activity in this first week. Only Jamie White was pretty active and so he got the pow for this week.

2nd week
This 2nd week goes to Jesse Hristovski for his great improvement this week on the Non-sc rankings.

3rd week
This week was much harder to decide then the first two. Jesse improved very fast, for example he got his Avg. Fin down from 82.x to 59.x. Michael Fried also did a very good job in getting to the Legend + rankings!. They were good candidates for the pow, but Marcelo Almeida dos Reis takes it away from them.
Marcelo improved his stats just a little bit better then Fried, by passing Sami Cetin in Avg. Finish with quite some points.

4th week
Jesse Hristovski moves up fast.

Pom
Jesse Hristovski!

Here's the first update of this month. This week William Lacey passed Jeffrey Gutierrez for 5th place in AvgFin. He also managed to beat the GOD standard on Toad's Turnpike shortcut lap. So as of February 1st 2005, finally all 52 MK64 GOD standards have been beaten. Interestingly enough, this was William's first official shortcut time in his career...
In the other ranks, no spectacular moves were made. But a good number of players made some consistent improvements. Michael Fried passed Tuomas Dunkel for 12th place in AvgFin. Legend C players Cooper Lovera, Eddie Taylor and Martin McMullan all improved a little, and so did Legend F players Jesse Hristovski, Richard Keyser and Jamie White. WolfGang Peter had a good 0.5 ARR cut to get close to King F. Elite B player Rafael Pissolato was active. Kristopher Will made a nice jump from 15.781 (Elite D) to 14.469 (Elite C). A large group of low-Elite players were active this week. Elite D players Drew Kostecki and Hue Le climbed a few spots, but they'll need to watch their back, since 5 Elite F players are on the rise: Richard Elliott is a new elite player. Justin Conway, Pat Bertovich, Clay McElveen and Scott Burtis all improved between 0.2 to 0.5 ARR points.

Friday, February 04, 2005 - PAST CHAMPIONS UPDATED - by Kevin at 1:07 am
Well, what ya know, I updated it! Also very noteworthy, that as of January 31st, 2005, Michaal Jongerius has broken Steven Zwartjes longstanding record of days of holding the world championship in his career, so congratulations are defintely in order.

Now who wants a piece of him? I see a few people not too far away from taking that top spot, so we could have a new king of the hill as soon as this year, or sooner... yep, Hab has been playing, so watch your back MJ!

If you use aim, AND your aim SN isn't shown on the buddylist, make sure to contact nathan stinson or myself and well make sure you get added to it.

My SN as you may know is KevinBoothWWDB. I'm away most the time, but IM me anyhow, and I will get back to you when I can.

Also, if you would like to have access to the vid library, I have left the SN Glitchman1 online to host the vids.
